We had several Christmas parties at the beginning of the month. The first party was our ward party. We had lots of good food and a talent show. Briley played the piano and did an wonderful job. She always amazes me at how she can get up in front of so many people and not even act the slightest bit scared or nervous. We are so proud of her and her talent of playing the piano!
We also had the annual Klomp family christmas party the same weekend. This party is always a big hit at our house. There was lots of fun and games for the kids! They came away with PlEnTy of fun prizes. At the end of the party they gave all of the kids a balloon. Samantha got an Angel balloon and accidentally let go of it. She was heart broken! But Marnell, Casey and Cody came to the rescue and after several attempts and climbing on a table and a chair with a broom stick they retrieved it from the top of the gym. After that she would not let go of it. At bedtime it took several minutes of convincing her that if she let go of it, it would still be there in the morning.
We also had our McArthur family party earlier this month. I forgot the camera so I did not get any pictures. It was bittersweet for me. This was the first Christmas that Grandma was not with us but I think she would have been happy to know that we were all together. We of course had lots of good food. We also played BiNgO! It was fun to get together and see everyone and how our familes are growing!
